We're now looking for a Finance & Operations Assistant to join our growing consultancy. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to finance and operations within a technology management consultancy. Working closely with our Management Accountant and Director of Finance & Operations, you'll gain practical experience, commercial insight, and a strong foundation for long-term growth.
This role is ideal for a current or recently graduated student looking to build real-world experience alongside their studies.
Responsibilities:
Finance & Reporting Support
Assist with month-end data prep (revenue, WIP, costs)
Support invoicing, billing coordination, and reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records and templates
Support debtor reporting and follow-ups
Operations & Business Support
Provide admin and coordination support to Finance & Ops leadership
Assist with operational, resourcing, and project performance reporting
Maintain trackers, dashboards, and internal documentation
Projects & Systems
Monitor and follow up on staff timesheets
Support project administration in Dynamics 365
Assist with rate cards, job updates, and reporting
Build capability across finance systems, Excel, and professional services tools
What We're Looking For
Currently studying Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or similar
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Confident communicator with a proactive, collaborative approach
Comfortable with Excel (or keen to build your skills quickly)
