As part of our Finance team, you’ll be responsible for system and data integrity, supporting the accuracy of financial reporting to the organisation. You’ll be the technical lead on the finance system and drive the business to use IT systems to improve automation and efficiencies.
This role will support the delivery of a proactive and high-quality financial service which will require collaboration across the business, to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships.

What you’ll be doing:
Being the technical support for the finance system implementation project, ensuring UAT and system configuration is completed effectively and to the deadlines.
Driving the business to maximise the use of IT systems and continually evaluate process automation to drive efficiencies across the team.
Liaising with the MRI and One Advanced teams to ensure the timely and satisfactory resolution of system issues that affect the integrity of the financial reporting and the finance system implementation project.
Ensuring accurate and timely recording, processing, and reporting of transactions within ForHousing’s financial system and integration with other systems.
Supporting colleagues with process reviews to improve efficiency through software solutions.
Supporting the Finance team to build dashboards and reports for month-end reporting.
Providing real time and dynamic advice and analysis as a trusted advisor to drive effective decision making.
What we’re looking for:
Qualified or part-qualified Accountant – ACCA/ACA or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in a Finance System Accountant role.
Excellent data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and presenting skills.
Effective communications skills and great attention to detail.
