About the Role
This position is a 6 month Max Term Contract
This role is within the Group’s Treasury Accounting team, with the team responsible for ensuring the Bank's Treasury Accounting and reporting requirements are met and that systems and controls are in place and continually developed to enable effective management and control of the Banks portfolio of securitized loans.
This position is responsible for ensuring that allocated month end tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, Trust Distributions and financial reporting activities are completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
Furthermore, you will be required to contribute towards the consolidation and standardisation of financial control activities to drive efficiency and enhanced controls, providing a platform to transition to the target future state following the broader Finance Transformation.
About you
Qualifications
CPA / CA/ICAA qualified (or international equivalent) Experience
Multiple years accounting experience ideally within a financial control function
Proven technical accounting skills and interpretation of new accounting
Experience with Securitisation accounting (highly regarded)
Knowledge & Competencies
Ability to work directly with Securitisation Administration Officers and other Financial Accounting staff
Consistent ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision from
