Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Complete ad hoc analysis, reporting, and project requests as identified or assigned.

Complete forecasting and budgeting.

Collaborate with internal teams to research and guide the accurate P&L management / Expense management / Internal Financials.

Gather and prepare data to support analytics from a variety of data source types including databases, internal systems, flat files, external sources, etc. as necessary.

Analyze and communicate financial and operational data to internal customers and leadership for decision-making and strategic planning.

Drive process improvement by Identify inefficiencies, risks, and control gaps within financial processes, working with the Projects Team to implement improvements, including automation where appropriate.

Contribute to the accounting month-end close, including Passbacks, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

Foster and build relationships with business partners within Technology and the overall Compass organization.

Ensure accurate and timely presentation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Group Accounting Manual.

Provide assistance with mid-year, interim, year-end, and committed audit deliverables.

Requirements:

B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance required

3-5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong Excel skills required, Power Bi and SharePoint preferred)

Experience with SAP or other large ERP preferred

Experience with Microsoft Power Applications (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate) preferred

Experience delivering presentations to Sr. Management and department customers

Other Skills/Abilities:

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment

Ability to work independently and possess strong problem-solving skills

Strong accounting knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to drive results

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

Strong organization and planning skills

Ability to foster solid business partnerships with peer management partners across multiple disciplines

Food Industry experience is a plus

Tech Finance / Project Cost Analysis is a plus

Collaborative - works well as a member of a team

Ability to manage high volume and quick turn-around responses
