The Business Strategy Analyst will support the Enterprise Finance team in the execution of Texas Capital’s strategic initiatives as well as partner with line of business leadership to develop reporting, forecasts, and enhancements to the annual operating plan processes.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial tools, reports, and processes in support of the Firm’s forecast and annual operating plan process in collaboration with line of business leaders
Create wireframes and mock-ups quickly and iteratively for management presentations, reports, and dashboards
Prepare and analyze financial reports, which include key performance metrics, financial results, and variance reporting and commentary
Develop clear and concise written summations of complex analytical work executive management and senior leadership
Develop reports, synthesize analysis, and articulate the conclusions through verbal and written communications
Develop knowledge of the business/LOB that is being supported
Understanding of data sources and data analysis techniques
Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested
Qualifications
Bachelor's with a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields; 1 - 2 years of experience
Beginner knowledge of banking, including understanding of bank products, services, and regulations, policies, and procedures
Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills
Detail-oriented and must be able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from project management teams to Bank senior management
Excellent analytical and organization skills
Knowledge of spreadsheet manipulation, modeling, and forecasting
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel and PowerPoint
