Financial Assistant

We are seeking a highly mo vated and skilled Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: The Finance Assistant will be responsible for supporting the finance team in day to-day activities. The Finance Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, and in maintaining effective communication with other departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable regularly, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and budgets, providing accurate and timely data to the Finance Manager as required
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to the Finance Manager as required
• Liaise with other departments within the organization to ensure that financial data is accurate and up-to-date and that financial processes are followed consistently
• Participate in internal and external audits as required, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and complete
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, ensuring that they are consistent with best practices and applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in financial data
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with other departments within the organization
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing financial transactions and reporting
