We are a growing investment firm, based in Winnipeg, that has completed its eighteenth year of business and that manages over $6 billion in client assets. This is a newly created, entry-level position on our Accounting Team with the mission to provide administrative support to BCV’s management and referral fee processing. If you love Excel and would like to be a part of a growing, high-performing team, this may be the opportunity for you!

Tasks, Role & Responsibilities:

· Support the operational processes of the management, trailer and referral fees including:

o Calculating quarterly management fees.

o Calculating quarterly referral fees.

o Charging Final Management Fees & Executing transfers.

o Changes in management fees and referral parties.

o Changes in dealers.

o Reconciliations.

o Documentation review.

· Data entry, including updates to our financial services platforms.

· Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes.

· Communication with internal and external stakeholders.

· Special project work as well as other duties from time to time as this role evolves.

Critical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Post secondary education in business administration or related field.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with savviness in Excel.

· Microsoft Dynamics and NDEX experience desired.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy without compromising the ability to meet deadlines.

· Friendly and positive team player.

· Ability to multitask with proven analytical, planning and time management skills.

· Detail oriented and highly organized.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels within the business.
