Functional Responsibilities:
• Ensure reporting compliance with all group deadlines on periodic basis. As part of this process develop, analyze and interpret financial and accounting information, and appraise profitability and performance against budget. At all times ensure that the team maintains a high standard of reporting in line with group policies and procedures.
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
• Finalize Trial balance and statutory P& L, balance sheet, cash flow for monthly reporting
• Responsible for annual budgets along with periodic variance analysis
• Maintain detailed financial planning models (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & Cash flow) to provide an updated monthly forecast and budget view based on actual results achieved and the view of the business moving forward
• Ensure completion of internal audits along with external auditors
• Lead support on the business reviews, preparation of decks and driving engagement with stakeholder for gathering inputs key insights.
• Work with BI/Tech team to develop dashboards for regular reporting requirements
Must Have(s):
• Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills - able to manage conflict and resistance.
• Independent decision-making ability and adapt to changing requirements
