FP&A Manager – REIT/Commercial Real Estate Industry
Washington, DC - Hybrid
We are currently recruiting for new Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis opportunity with a leading Real Estate Investment Trust based here in the DC metro area. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this person will be supporting the corporate FP&A functions, including financial modeling, budget preparation and reporting, preparing financial reports to present to Board of Directors, lender compliance/reporting, and a variety of ad-hoc projects as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support the VP of Finance and CFO on Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis duties , including earnings projections, financial reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
• Partner with VP of Finance to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
• Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
Serve as a liaison for the investor relations team, managing the earnings guidance scenario modeling, including executive presentation, Q&A support, and ad hoc analysis.
Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• MBA preferred, not required
• 5 -10 years of progressive experience within Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory/Public Accounting
• REIT or Commercial Real Estate Industry experience highly preferred
• Publicly-Traded company experience a plus
• Advanced Excel
