Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
Our customer centric Financial Processing team is focused on slick and accurate processing of our accounts payable, credit card and employee expense claims.
You'll work closely with internal and external customers providing operational financial advice relating to payment and process queries. We work with a wide variety of stakeholders, including the broader accounting team. Another aspect of this role will be taking part in regular internal audits of the processes and outputs relating to payment approval processes and dabbling in the financial administration of the corporate and residential property portfolios.

We are seeking to appoint at a salary between $68,241 -$75,014 commensurate with skills and experience.

We're looking for someone who can bring the following skills and experience:
Accounts Payable - including systems integration of payable transactions, preparing and execution of daily payment runs.
Employee expenses - including systems integration of credit card transactions
Supplier data management, including new and changes to suppliers' data'
Experience with large financial management systems - Ideally SAP/AIP
Ensuring expenses and invoices comply with policies and rectifying any variances
Up-skilling of staff members on financial systems and process
We also look for a knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori; and a knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.'

Investment and Finance team is responsible for NZTA | Waka Kotahi's: financial management; performance reporting; business planning; and investment frameworks. Teams comprise of financial management including planning, budgeting, insurance, and supporting systems; Investment assurance and policy; financial operations including processing and revenue collection/refunds; organisational performance monitoring and reporting; and funding and financing, including funding and cashflow management.
