Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Financial reporting as per the Indian GAAP
• Co-ordination with the Statutory and Internal Auditors and to ensure timely completion of Audit.
• Co-ordinate, review and provide support through appropriate inputs/financials to the teams for the yearly/quarterly MIS reporting. Assisting in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Daily review of Trial Balances, co-ordinating with operations/recon teams for variances, review of old ageing in suspense/sundry accounts, identifying gaps in accounting & its resolution.
• Preparation of data for submission to regulators like RBI, SEBI, stock exchanges and co-ordinating with auditors for various quarterly & annual certifications.
• Automation of manual compilation of data, Rationalisation of GL accounts & Chart of Accounts.
• Reviewing product notes, designing accounting entries for the new products.
• Process improvements, risks and controls assessment from the financial reporting perspective.
• Building control around GL accounts, transaction monitoring, building system based alerts
