Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of quarterly financial statements (including notes to accounts and getting it reviewed and audited by external auditors.
Quarterly trend analysis of various incomes, expenses, assets and liabilities and developing financial controlling mechanisms such Q-on-Q / Y-on-Y comparisons and variance reasoning, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.
Preparation and review of annual financial statements (including notes to accounts and updation of accounting policies) and getting them audited by external auditors.
Ensuring compliances in terms of all relevant Ind-AS, provisions of Companies Act, CARO with respect to financial reporting.
Completion of IFC audit, maintenance & Improvement of IFC documents in liaison with Risk Assurance team.
Streamlining better integration with finance function of group companies, external auditors and various internal finance functions.
Liasoning and supporting the process team for preparation and circulation of audit data schedules including monitoring the related audit and review requirements.
Continuously work towards developing internal financial controls mechanism and documentation in various functions of finance, conducting periodic knowledge sharing sessions with entire finance team pertaining to Accounting and Financial reporting updates.
Financial planning such as evaluation of utilisation of the Company’s current assets and investments, cash flow management.
Preparation of yearly Budgets thereby working with individual departments/Verticals.
Creating, updating, and maintaining financial models and detailed forecasts of the company’s future operations.
Working on various management presentations.
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
CA-Qualified
5-7 years of experience in related Industry, preferably in retail Operations
