About the role:

As our Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for delivering excellence in financial statutory reporting, internal shareholder reporting and compliance across the ANZ group. You will work closely with colleagues across multiple geographies, including group management and our third‑party consulting and audit partners. In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of external statutory reporting for Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, along with corporate tax compliance, including consolidated filings.

You will also play a key role in internal and shareholder reporting and consolidation, and act as an internal compliance manager across identified key risks and processes.

You will:

Manage relationships with external auditors and effectively improve the audit process through effective planning and preparation
Own and manage the end-to-end monthly corporate reporting process, delivering timely and high-quality consolidation and reporting
Effectively liaise with group management and address queries on internal reporting
Partner with the Financial Controller on key internal control programs such as group inventory process, order to cash reviews to identify control gaps and drive best practices
Partner effectively with business units for group budget preparation and consolidation
Provide back-up support to the Financial Accounting team to ensure key finance activities continue to operate effectively and within control.
About you?

You are a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to operate confidently at senior levels. Ideally you have operated in a FMCG environment and have prior Big-4 experience, with a minimum of 8 years experience in financial reporting.

You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, delivering high‑quality customer service and building trusted relationships across the business.

You bring strong business acumen, ability to deliver quality results under tight timelines, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You also confidently engage, challenge, and uplift people and processes while managing competing deadlines and priorities.
