• Finshots Daily – A three-minute newsletter that simplifies the biggest finance and business stories, delivered to 500,000+ inboxes every day.
• Finshots Podcast – One of India’s top finance podcasts with over a million listens.
• Deep Dives & Explainers – Breaking down complex financial concepts into bite-sized, engaging stories.
Now, we’re looking for a Financial Writer to lead and elevate our content game.
About the Role:
As our Financial Writer, you’ll:
• Write and edit crisp, insightful content on how finance, business, and policy decisions affect the everyday Indian.
• Break down market trends, earnings reports, and economic concepts into engaging, easy-to-digest stories.
• Spearhead new content initiatives, whether it’s a personal finance series, an explainer on tax policies, or a deep dive into RBI’s latest move.
• Stay ahead of financial markets, business news, and macroeconomic developments.

• Storyteller at Heart – You don’t just report facts; you craft narratives that keep readers hooked.
• Finance Enthusiast – You geek out over market trends, investing, and economic policies.
• Clear Communicator – You can explain complex financial concepts to a 10-year-old.
• Sharp Editor – You spot inconsistencies a mile away and know how to make content shine.
• Digital-Savvy – You understand content distribution across platforms and how to make finance go viral.
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Prior background or training in finance is a big plus.
• 2+ years of experience in financial content creation — ideally in a fintech, business media, or finance-focused company.
Writing & Communication Skills:
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to explain financial concepts clearly and creatively.
• Prior experience writing about stocks, market trends, macroeconomics, or policy.
• Demonstrable ability to publish consistently — whether on a personal blog, LinkedIn, newsletters, or mainstream platforms.
Finance and Market Knowledge
• You're actively plugged into the world of finance — following earnings season, keeping up with RBI announcements, and maybe even investing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret balance sheets, income statements, and financial reports.
• Comfort in turning real-time developments into insightful content quickly and accurately.
