Role Description
This is a full-time role for Faculty in Art at School of Athens. The role will involve teaching art courses, providing guidance to students, conducting critiques, and fostering a creative learning environment. Faculty members will be responsible for curriculum development, student assessments, and supporting student growth in their artistic endeavors.
Qualifications
Passion for and proficiency in classical painting, drawing, and other art mediums.
Individuals who practice, appreciate, or are deeply interested in the classical style of painting
Prior teaching experience in art or a related field is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues
Ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor students in their artistic growth
Solid understanding of art history as well as awareness of contemporary art trends
A degree in Fine Arts or a related discipline
Experience in curriculum development and course planning is an added advantage
