Responsibilities:
- Greet and ****** guests to their tables in a fine dining setting
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies)
- Use OpenTable or similar software to manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS system
- Serve meals and beverages in a timely manner
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and overall dining experience
- Upsell additional items on the menu
- Prepare itemized checks and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas
Skills:
- Proficiency in using OpenTable for reservations and seating management
- Knowledge of food service procedures and standards
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional hospitality
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including kitchen processes
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices for maintaining a clean dining environment
