Position Overview

Primary work in Thousand Oaks and surrounding areas
$40/hour | Full-Time | W-2

We are looking for a highly experienced individual to manage the finish phase of residential construction for our A.D.U. projects, including finish carpentry, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, inspections, and final delivery. This is a hands-on management role that requires strong attention to detail, proactive planning, and the ability to keep momentum when schedules conflict or materials are delayed.

What the Role Includes

-Managing projects from drywall completion through final inspection and C of O
-Overseeing finish carpentry, cabinetry, doors, trim, flooring, tile, paint, and hardware
-Coordinating and managing multiple subcontractors and vendors
-Creating and adjusting finish schedules to keep projects moving forward
-Anticipating material lead times and sequencing work accordingly
-Maintaining quality control and punch list completion
-Communicating clearly with ownership, inspectors, and subcontractors
-Problem-solving in real time when delays or conflicts arise

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
-Strong background in finish carpentry and interior construction
-Proven experience managing subcontractors and finish trades
-Ability to read plans, finish schedules, and specifications
-Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
-Demonstrated ability to plan ahead and adapt to schedule or material delays
-Strong communication and leadership skills on active job sites
-Reliable, organized, and accountable
-Authorized to work in the United States
