What does a successful Software Engineering Manager do?
The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the development team to ensure all programs are adequately staffed. The Software Engineering Manager will also ensure that targets for the development, maintenance, and quality of products are achieved.
What you will do:
Translate business requirements into technical design.
Design and develop software.
Manage full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation, and auditing.
Work with the product, services teams and other stakeholders to develop and maintain and initiative roadmap for the system.
Manage the team’s development priorities to align with the goals and objectives set out by the company.
Manage the work efforts of employees with responsibility for hiring, coaching, and performance appraisals.
What you will need to have:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant program of study is required.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in personal management experience.
Must have recent hands-on in development and system architecture with the ability to provide leadership to development and architecture teams.
Proven ability to drive the entire software development process from concept, architecture design, development, and QA to deployment of complex web-based applications is required.
