Fire Equipment Technician – Fixed term

This opportunity is for an experienced fire equipment technician to join us on a fixed-term contract for 6 months to cover medical leave.

You will be a skilled Fire Equipment Technician who is passionate about the Fire Protection Industry and keen to uphold the high standards Argus Fire prides itself on.

As a Fire Equipment Technician for the Wellington region, your key responsibility will be to survey, service and sell fire equipment; training and related products to existing and prospective customers; to maintain and develop existing customer relationships and to ensure all work carried out meets agreed quality standards.

Your background

Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Health and Safety systems

Working understanding and knowledge of NZS 4503

Well-presented, highly organised, and motivated.

Able to work effectively in a small team and independently.

Reliable, quick learner and a proven relationship builder.

Able to multitask and coordinate services on and off site

NZ Building Code and NZ Standards knowledge preferred but not essential.

Good communication and man-management skills

Good computer skills

Professional and positive attitude

Energetic and customer-focused
