We are seeking a qualified and motivated Fire Technician to join our team. The role involves the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of essential fire safety systems in accordance with Australian Standards, industry regulations, and company procedures. You will be working across a variety of commercial, residential, and industrial sites, ensuring compliance and providing high-quality service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection, testing, servicing, and maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment, including:
Fire alarms & detection systems
Emergency & exit lighting
Fire panels
Sprinkler systems, hydrants, and hose reels
Fire extinguishers
Assist with installations, upgrades, and commissioning of fire safety systems when required.
Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience in fire protection service/maintenance (minimum 1 year preferred).
Current knowledge of Australian Standards (AS1851) and relevant legislation.
Cert II/III in Fire Protection (or willingness to obtain).
Current driver’s licence.
