Responsibilities Focuses on a range of embedded firmware development actives to create a high-quality embedded product. Demonstrate strong knowledge in the firmware development domain. Demonstrate a passion for problem solving, and attention to detail. Demonstrable programming skills and previous experience (5+ years) of firmware development using C/C++. Gather functional requirements for product, design and implement firmware modules accordingly. Work closely with other developers/teams to ensure proper interoperability for products. Work closely with verification and validation (test) team to ensure full test coverage, and closure of reported firmware defects. Document code functionality and using best practices followed in organization. Participate in agile planning events including Scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Responsible for the maintenance of current software including feature enhancements, performance increases, troubleshooting, testing, and bug fixing
