Your opportunity

As a First Nations Partnerships Specialist, you’ll be reporting to the First Nations Program Manager, and will be responsible for the strategic management and oversight of relationships with First Nations Stakeholders at a State and Regional Level. Working side by side with people who go the extra mile, you’ll also love the feeling of helping children and adults who need us. Here’s how you’ll do it:

Forge new partnerships and strengthen existing ones with key First Nations Stakeholders to support Hearing Australia’s commitment to improving ear health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
Actively contribute to First Nations reporting, data collection, checking, and collation at a state level
Work closely with Outreach Managers on the development and implementation of the Shared Hearing Services Plans and service level agreements (SLA’s)
Provide cultural advice to hearing centres and support the delivery of cultural competency training as required
Attend regular meetings with State Outreach manager and other team members

Current Working with Children Check (or ability/willingness to obtain)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite
A current driver’s license
Experience working with First Nations communities in a culturally sensitive and safe manner
