Role and Responsibilities of Five Below Store Associate:
At Five Below, associates play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting store operations to enhance the overall shopping experience and make it enjoyable and welcoming for all customers.
• Listen actively to customer needs and concerns, addressing them with empathy and professionalism.
• Share insights on merchandise, suggest alternatives, and propose tailored solutions that align with customer needs.
• Drive customer engagement by promoting store events, promotions, and activities to increase participation.
• Manage customer issues with respect and present alternative solutions where feasible.
• Provide updates on restocking merchandise and customer evaluations to the supervisors.
• Join forces with your team members to achieve the goals outlined for the store and the organization.
Qualifications for Five Below Store Associate:
• Only those who are 16 years or older are allowed to join.
• The position requires availability at varied times, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Competent in the operation and learning of tech tools such as registers and handheld devices.
• Skilled in communication effectiveness and customer service prowess.
• Proficient at swiftly and professionally resolving various concerns.
• Ready to enhance expertise through practical on-the-job education.
Essential Job Functions of Five Below Store Associate:
• Process customer payments and operate the cash register efficiently.
• Transfer and organize goods weighing up to 25 pounds and reach shelving that is up to 10 feet high.
• Ascend ladders and engage in bending, twisting, and stooping actions when stocking shelves and assisting patrons.
• Engage in in-person and telephonic discussions with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Constantly transition across the sales floor and stockroom areas.
• Concentrate and stay upright for an extended duration.
• Be prepared to accommodate varying schedules, which could entail working overnight shifts.
