Fleet Lead
A good professional who is responsible for carrying out a wide variety of tasks with multitasking capability related to planning, managing, supervising, and coordinating the fleet management related activities. Responsibilities include designing efficient driver schedules, managing their strict adherence, developing fuel efficiency strategies, overseeing vehicle conditions, scheduling maintenance activities, hiring quality drivers, stringent monitoring system implementation for tracking operations fleet and always looking out for cost saving and efficient alternatives.
Responsibilities :
• Regularly report expenses and performances of the fleet to the management of the company
• Assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.
• Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profits.
• Managing drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
• Make sure that all vehicles are properly registered; carry out inspection on regular basis
• Registering and licensing all vehicles under their management.
• Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
• Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
• Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
• Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
• Make sure vehicles are always ready and available to meet orders by scheduling and monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
• Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years in a logistics role.
• Experience in the transportation industry.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
