With a strong presence in the global market, they specialize in providing premium mobility solutions to customers across numerous countries.
They foster a culture of innovation and teamwork, empowering our employees to contribute their skills and expertise towards our collective success. With a strong emphasis on professional development, they provide ample opportunities for growth and learning. They believe in recognizing and rewarding their dedicated workforce, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and make a difference.
Role
Reporting to the Fleet Director, as well as the UK Van & Truck Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of LCV fleet procurement and supply chain operations. This includes handling in-life OEM product concerns, developing remarketing strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and offering financial insights to aid in decision-making.
Providing all stakeholders with daily/weekly updates on a precise LCV infleet plan and defleet strategy, aligned with fleet requirements and demand forecasts.
Continuously evaluating future residual values and adjusting the fleet to capture the highest financial equity at the optimal time.
Collaborating with the wider remarketing team to enhance and optimize disposal channels geographically across the UK, maximizing profit on sales while minimizing vehicle movement costs and reducing the carbon footprint.
Managing relationships with body-builders (both independent and one-stop-shop) to enhance vehicle desirability with minimal sector-specific conversions. Ensure the acquisition of correct CAP IDs for residual values and timely vehicle delivery in line with pre-agreed build duration SLAs.
Responding to requests from the Sales team by providing quick net pricing and industry insights, including guidance on whether to proceed with the request and suggestions on suitable extras based on customer requirements.
Maintaining high responsiveness, visibility, and ensuring all requests are expedited promptly.
Profile
Whilst certain experience will certainly be beneficial in this role I am open to hearing about different backgrounds across the automotive space. That being said, the following background would be very beneficial.
• Experience of LCV fleet acquisition, particularly with major OEMs and remarketing.
• In-depth knowledge of e-Vans, including their optimal specifications and holding periods.
• Understanding of the ZEV Mandate, new regulations and the ability to advise on technological advancements, including hydrogen and alternative fuels.
• Strong ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to benefit LCV operations.
• Flexibility to travel within the UK, including occasional overnight stays, to meet suppliers and attend events as necessary.
