About The Opportunity
Flight Centre AI Centre of Excellence (part of Flight Centre Travel Group) is looking for a passionate, motivated and skilled AI engineer to join our growing Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a new team leading the charge on travel personalization.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player who will contribute to our culture of engineering and is excited to work with emerging technologies in the AI space.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, work with, and implement LLM models to support various business use cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and processes
Build scalable AI solutions that handle vast amounts of data efficiently
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI to continuously improve our technology stack
Help define and enforce best practices in AI development and deployment
Monitor and optimize the performance of AI models in production
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field
2+ years of professional experience in AI and machine learning roles
Strong background in engineering, and AI-related technologies
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Javascript, Ruby
Experience with data processing libraries and platforms, such as Pandas, NumPy, Apache Spark
Familiarity with cloud-based AI services and infrastructures (Azure, Google Cloud)
Experience with AI model validation and performance monitoring tools
Strong statistical analysis skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
In-depth knowledge of AI ethics and data privacy laws
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AI models is a plus
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $110,000 - $120,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
