Qualifications
Unit, integration, and verification testing, and data validation
Using C and C++ for the development of embedded satellite flight software
Experienced in development and test on multiple platforms including Unix, Linux, Green Hills and Windows
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or no experience required with a related PhD or JD
US Citizen
3-5 years of experience in software development particularly in embedded flight software
Experience in a full lifecycle environment from requirements development to test and integration
Experience in development on multiple platforms
US Citizenship is required

Responsibilities
Perform the development, testing, and integration of the weather satellite Flight Software incorporating the following:
Specification, design, and implementation
Documentation, schedule, and status
Create problem reports for any failed test cases or defects found in the code and/or requirements
Details of the test environment, commercial tools, configuration set-ups, proprietary routines, and any other information required for reproduction of the tests
Provide support and assistance to the software development IPTs to enable them to reproduce the automated testing coverage, results, and flight software artifacts in their software development folder testing environment
Conducting software peer reviews and documenting the results of the reviews
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps
May require walking long distance from parking to work station
