Tell me about this role:
We are currently looking for an NV2 security cleared Flight Test Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will see you develop and plan operational test and evaluation events to realise new capabilities.
This role offers uncapped training and development opportunities as well as other benefits including free parking, flexible working and different leave arrangements including paid parental, study, reserve and volunteer leave.
What will I be doing day to day?
Manage multiple stakeholders and inputs to successfully develop and plan operational test and evaluation events to realise new capabilities.
Plan and coordinate individual OT&E events using approved T&E Master Plans (TEMPs)
Work with a wide range of stakeholders and build meaningful and lasting professional relationships
Provide expert advice and leadership across the team
What sort of skills do I need?
Air Force exercise and operations planning experience
Understanding of Air Force planning processes, stakeholders and relationships
Understanding of Air Force ranges, air combat platforms and weapons
Understanding of Test and Evaluation concepts and processes
Understanding of airworthiness requirements and processes
Strong communication skills
Process orientated with good attention to detail
Minimum NV2 security clearance required
