We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer with a strong passion for pushing the boundaries of mobile technologies. As part of our web application team, you will collaborate closely with them to create mobile app controls that align with user requirements. The Android Developer will work closely with other app development and technical teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage, maintain, and upgrade over 30 mobile apps that are currently in active use, ensuring they meet user requirements.
Design and develop new advanced applications and modify existing apps on the Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
Integrate external data sources and utilize APIs effectively.
Conduct thorough unit testing of code for robustness, including handling edge cases, ensuring usability, and enhancing overall reliability.
Address bug fixes and work on enhancing application performance.
Continuously explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Skill Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven professional experience in Android app development.
Proficiency with the latest Android SDK platform.
Experience working with Flutter.
Familiarity with working on remote data retrieval using REST and JSON.
Strong expertise in utilizing third-party libraries and APIs.
Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, current trends, and emerging technologies.
A good understanding of the complete mobile development life cycle.
