Job Description
A Flutter developer is responsible for creating cross-platform mobile applications using the Flutter framework.
Flutter developer responsibilities:
1. Developing mobile applications: Building and maintaining mobile applications using the Flutter framework, translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
2. Cross-platform development: Creating applications that work seamlessly across multiple platforms, including iOS and Android, using a single codebase.
3. UI/UX implementation: Implementing engaging and user-friendly interfaces based on design guidelines and best practices. This includes working with designers to understand the user experience and ensure it is translated effectively into the application.
4. Integration with backend services: Collaborating with backend developers and integrating the mobile application with various APIs and web services to fetch and update data.
5. Testing and debugging: Conducting unit tests and UI tests to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the application. Debugging and resolving any issues or bugs that arise during the development process.
6. Continuous integration and deployment: Working with tools and technologies for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes.
7. Collaborating with a team: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the development lifecycle.
8. Keeping up with industry trends: Staying up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile app development and incorporating them into the development process when appropriate.
Qualifications and skills for the Flutter developer role:
• Strong proficiency in the Dart programming language, which is used to develop applications in Flutter
• At least 6 months – 1.5 years’ experience in flutter Mobile APP Development
• Experience in developing mobile applications using Flutter and a solid understanding of its framework, widgets, and architecture
• Knowledge of mobile app development principles, including UI/UX design, performance optimization, and integration with backend services
• Strong knowledge in Oops concepts
• Developed at least 1 application and should be released in play store or Appstore
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data formats like JSON
• Knowledge on any state management (Riverpod, Bloc, Provider)
• Best Clean Code Practices
• Additionally native android or iOS mobile app development will be a plus
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues effectively
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality code and user experiences
