Flutter Developer
Job Summary:
We're looking for a highly motivated Flutter Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. Your role will involve creating and maintaining high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter. We need someone skilled in designing features for various devices and proficient in utilizing Flutter widgets for flexible customization and deployment. Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy new code to meet the Business needs of the requirements / stories and features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Maintain and enhance existing code to improve our software and minimize the technical debt of the platform.
• Respond to changing/revised business needs.
• Work in an Agile environment with daily status updates.
• Peer code review.
• Unit, API, and UI test development.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Respond to communications from team members in a timely fashion.
• Ensure the final product is highly performant, responsive, and of the highest quality.
• Willing to take responsibility for your assigned priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• High-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in developing Android/iOS mobile applications using Flutter framework and deployment on Google Play/App Store or available on GitHub.
• Strong understanding of the Flutter framework and its widgets.
Knowledge of Dart programming language and its features, such as asynchronous programming and streams
• Proficiency in Rest APIs, third-party libraries, and third-party API integrations, including experience with integrating APIs and SDKs like Google Maps, Firebase, and social media APIs, along with familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Familiarity with platform-specific APIs for both Android and iOS and how to access them from Flutter.
• Familiarity with state management solutions like BLoC, Provider, Redux, or MobX.
• Experience with debugging and profiling tools, such as Dart DevTools and Flutter Performance tools.
• Familiarity with the Flutter build process, including the use of pubspec.yaml and the Flutter command-line tools.
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing in Flutter.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git, including familiarity with version control tools like Git, and proficiency in using Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Android Studio, VS Code, etc.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices for mobile app development, such as clean architecture and SOLID principles.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including a strong understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle and exposure to Scrum projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of common mobile app development patterns, such as MVC, MVVM, and MVP.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Callback handling from web application to flutter application.
• Good knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience working remotely and coordinating tech initiatives with different teams to deliver projects.
Nice to have:
• Experience with native mobile app development for Android and iOS.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
