Job Description
What you'll do:
• As a lead engineer, you will work closely with designers and product managers to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with the backend development team to ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend of the application.
• Work with the design team to translate designs into code.
• Building and maintaining the frontend codebase using Flutter
• Expertise on Java, Kotlin and Android
• Ensuring that the frontend code is optimized for performance and maintainability.
• Mentoring and guiding other frontend engineers on the team.
• Collaborating with the backend team to integrate the frontend with the backend API
• Participating in code reviews and ensuring that the codebase adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices, and incorporating them into the codebase as appropriate.
What makes you a great fit:
• 4+ years of technical experience and passionate about scaling the Fintech system.
• Experience in development of Android/iOS applications and have deployed them on Google Play/App Store. Should be proficient with the store process & regulations.
• Designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and deploying software in the Flutter framework.
• Leading and mentoring team in both soft and technical skills.
• In depth understanding of Java, Kotlin & Android
• In depth understanding of Object-Oriented programming languages like Java
• Understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle and been exposed to Scrum projects.
• Knowledge of Dart programming language, Rest APIs and integration of various APIs from third parties.
• Comfortable using test cases for debugging code, enhancing performance and reliability.
• Lending, Payments and/or risk experience are a plus, but not required.
