Job Description:
As an Intermediate Mobile Developer at PsiCo Developers, you'll play a pivotal role in the development of our mobile applications. You'll collaborate with our team of product owners, full stack developers and designers to build engaging and user-friendly mobile experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated developer looking to grow their career in mobile app development.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain mobile applications using the Flutter framework.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers advising on best UI/UX design practices and to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement user interfaces that are both visually appealing and highly responsive.
• Write clean and efficient code, following best practices and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring optimal app performance.
• Maintain legacy code written by other developers, including bug fixes.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of our mobile applications
• Debug and resolve technical issues, identify bottlenecks, and improve application performance.
• Assist with database development and maintenance
• Assist with basic API creation, optimisation and maintenance
• Stay up-to-date with Flutter updates, mobile trends, and emerging technologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Optimization and performance tuning of mobile applications.
• Ensure proper test driven development and adequate application testing are performed to maintain excellent application quality.
• Contribute to the planning and estimation of development tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in mobile app development with Flutter. (must have)
• Proficiency in Dart programming language. (must have)
• Strong understanding of Flutter widgets and architecture. (must have)
• Experience with RESTful API integration. (must have)
• Familiarity with Git version control. (must have)
• Knowledge of mobile app design principles and user experience (UX) concepts.
• Familiarity with mobile app testing and debugging tools. (must have)
• Experience with test driven development
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline implementation and integration
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (must have)
• You will need to have your own ‘tools of the trade’ ie: development computer and mobile devices for testing on Android and iOS as well as stable internet connectivity
Nice to Have:
• Experience with state management solutions like Provider or Bloc.
• Knowledge of platform-specific integration (iOS and Android).
• A portfolio of previous Flutter projects or apps.
• Contributions to open-source Flutter projects.
