Food & Beverage Manager
The Food & Beverage Manager oversees all Food and Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and adherence to Hilton brand standards. This role plays a key part in shaping the guest experience strategy and leads the F&B team to provide a seamless, welcoming, and memorable dining environment for all guests and members.
Hilton Adelaide is centrally located, overlooking Victoria Square. The hotel has 377 rooms ranging from guest rooms to the executive floor and suites. Hilton Adelaide offers unrivalled conference and events facilities comprising of 19 meeting rooms. It is the only 5-star hotel in Adelaide able to host 500 delegates to meet, eat and sleep, all under one roof.
What will I be doing?
As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will manage all F&B outlets, including two specialist bars, a 170-seat restaurant, in-room dining, minibar services, and the conference/events department to ensure outstanding guest and member experiences. You will be responsible for managing, training, and developing your team, while ensuring all activities operate within budgeted guidelines. Specifically, you will be expected to:
Manage daily operations across all Food and Beverage outlets
Maintain exceptional customer service standards at all times
Ensure full compliance with brand standards
Recruit, lead, train, and develop the Food and Beverage team
Handle guest queries promptly and efficiently
Manage Food, Liquor, and Payroll costs within budget alongside our Executive chef
Set departmental targets, objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies
Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to develop menus
Take accountability for monthly stock takes and inventory control
Motivate and incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue
Conduct annual and mid-year performance appraisals for managers under your supervision
Monitor guest satisfaction and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Organise regular communication meetings and ensure minutes are recorded
Promote environmentally responsible practices
Support other departments as needed and maintain positive working relationships
Comply with hotel security protocols, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
