Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while serving food and beverages in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met, contributing to a positive dining experience for all patrons.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
Provide detailed menu knowledge, including beer pairings and daily specials
Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality presentation
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
Handle payment transactions using the POS system
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant as needed
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Operate payment system ensuring transactions are handled accurately, including basic math for cash handling.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and upselling menu items.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or a similar role is required.
Experience with Touch bistro POS system required.
Current "Serving it Right" Certificate required.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
