Food and Beverage Supervisor
About Hilton Auckland
Our nautically-inspired 5-star hotel sits on the end of Princes Wharf, home to a wide variety of fine shops, restaurants, and bars. We are looking for Food & Beverage Supervisor to become part of our professional and hard-working Hilton Auckland team. This role will be crafting unforgettable guest experiences from sips on fresh barista coffee and take in our Bar and Restaurant's waterfront views by day. As the lights dim, enjoying a cocktail or a glass of champagne over dinner while sitting seaside by night!
What will I be doing?
This role involves:
Supervise Food and Beverage Outlet operations
Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
Ensure compliance of brand standards
Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Represent needs of the team
Assist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targets
Assist Food and Beverage management with training and development of team members
Assist with annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibility
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
Qualifications - Internal
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate for this role will bring:
Friendly, positive, energetic commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
Previous 5-star hotel experience within the Food & Beverage department
Experience in different F&B outlets - Banqueting, Restaurant, and Bar
Fulltime and flexible availability - able to work weekends and public holidays too
Experience in POS ordering systems and cashing up
Stock taking
Previous working experience in a supervising or leading role
Good communication skills in English
It will be beneficial if you maintain the following:
Completed a bar tendering course, for example, EBS
In possession of WSET
In possession of LCQ or managers certificate
