The Opportunity
We opened The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery, resetting the clock within this historic building. We create memorable moments for all life enjoyers to experience unique stories from the past but also to write their own astonishing tales of the future. Our hotel boasts 178 stunning bedrooms set in a remarkable landmark of the city.
A Day in the Life
You will be reporting to the Food and Beverage Managers, based at the hotel on an hourly basis up to 40 hours per week. You can expect your working day to include:
Providing exceptional service to guests, making an immediate welcome to ensure their memorable experience.
Conversing with guests, being attentive and reactive to requests, taking and delivering food orders, and anticipating their needs.
Delivering personable service, making Palm Court, The Botanic Tea Room, and the Seaforth Restaurant the place to be seen.
Being conversant with our cocktails, beverages, and food menus.
Working collaboratively with the Kitchen and Bar teams for a seamless operation.
Handling payments and balancing receipts.
What We Need
We hire mostly on personality & potential, but here are a few requirements:
A charming personable manner, care, and attention to detail.
A naturally effervescent communicator who can build excellent rapport with our guests and deliver outstanding service.
Knowledge of working within a food and beverage operation in a hotel or restaurant is highly desirable.
Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails.
Flexibility to work across varied shift patterns.
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
