The Role

Role Specification
• Provide efficient, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Assist in delivering all aspects of our food and beverage service to guests across all hotel and spa areas, mainly based in our awarding winning Ballroom.
• Answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner.
• To be able to run a section in Ballroom and any other restaurant across the business at any given dining time, including Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, Lunch and Dinner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables
• Set up for any event or function in line with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure all setup procedures are followed accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all closedown and setup procedures for functions, including equipment setup, table arrangements, and dining area organisation.
• Handle guest complaints, responding accordingly or escalating as required to ensure the complaints procedure is followed and service recovery results in a satisfied guest.
• Maintain compliance with applicable health and safety standards, dress code, and other serving standards.
• Undertake new or refresher training sessions as required.
Personal Specification:
Essentials
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• A passion for food, service, and guest experience.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
Desirables
• Previous experience in a food and beverage or hospitality role is an advantage but not required.
• Experience with large volume covers.
• Food Safety Training.
Shift Pattern
• Part-time, and Full-time opportunities available.
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of two shifts per week.
• Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business.
