Job Description
Key Duties include:
Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food & beverage service is provided to all guests.
Protect and maintain control of food & beverage service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
Control and maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for the food service areas to achieve the highest possible hygiene and cleaning standards.
Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
Maintain currency of Responsible Service of ******* (RSA) certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
Maintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s), following set opening, closing and daily procedures.
Follow daily procedures including cashier close ups and accounting responsibilities.
Qualifications
Experience required:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a food and beverage outlet.
Responsible Service of ******* certificate.
Strong knowledge of a variety of beverages including beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.
