Full job description
Position is full time/Part time with opportunity to grow.
Duties would include but are not limited to:
Ensuring quality and high standard of food
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Work in a high paced kitchen environment while delivering excellent food quality.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area in practicing good safety and sanitation
Follow food safety procedures.
Controlling cost by minimizing spoilage, waste and exercising portion control.
Ensuring fridges, freezers and work area are left in a tidy and organized manner.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Passion for great food.
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work standing for 8-hour shifts, and overtime as required
Ability to follow instructions & work independently is required
Must be able to work independently with little supervision
Must have 2-3 years’ experience
valid Alberta food safety certificate is an asset
