Position Overview
We are currently seeking Food Processors/General Labour Workers to join our team based out of our Calgary, AB location.
Contract: 3-Month Contract with possibility of one (1) month extension
Schedule: Full Time Hours. Sunday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm (day off is subject to change)
Wage: $16.30/hour
Location: 2+0212 Township Road 261, Rocky View County, Alberta, T4A 0V6
Note: This individual must have access to their own vehicle, as public transit does not reach our office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working in a cooler environment,
Able to lift up to 50lbs,
Able to stand and bend to complete tasks,
Cutting, peeling, and sorting vegetables,
Meeting production outputs,
Following GMP practices,
Cleaning of equipment,
Communicating quality issues; and
Working in a team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must have a reliable means of transport,
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
English speaking skills required,
Accountable and dependable,
Open to work in a changing work environment and able to multi-task,
Flexibility in working schedule (Weekend and Holidays as required), and
Experience in food manufacturing procedures is an asset.
