Job description:
Assist in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, service, meal distribution, ware-washing, and cleaning of the hospital service areas and in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.
The role:
In accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines, assist with food preparation, production, plating service, ware-washing, and cleaning duties in the provision of catering services to patients, visitors, and staff of the hospital.
Assist in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, service, meal distribution, ware-washing, and cleaning of the hospital service areas and in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.
Check patient identification is correct prior to delivering/distributing meals and observe all dietary restrictions allocated to patients.
Perform receipt and storage duties associated with food supplies in line with food safety guidelines.
Perform general food preparation, service and menu related duties.
