Job Title: QA/QC Food Technologist - Sweet Department(Milk base sweet, Khoya base Sweet, Ghee base Sweet, Dryfruit base sweet)
Location: Makarpura, Vadodara, Gujarat.
Department: Quality Assurance/Quality Control
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Food Technologist to join our Sweet Department (Milk base sweet, Khoya base Sweet, Ghee base Sweet, Dryfruit base sweet). The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in a sweet manufacturing unit and will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality and safety standards. This role involves implementing quality control processes, conducting tests, and collaborating with production teams to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance protocols to ensure the safety, quality, and consistency of sweet products throughout the manufacturing process.
Product Testing: Conduct routine quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of test results, inspections, and quality audits. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and quality control procedures. Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and enhance product quality.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in food safety legislation and best practices.
Training: Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
Problem Solving: Investigate quality issues and non-conformities, determining root causes and implementing effective corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on quality objectives and product specifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance or quality control within a sweet manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and GMP standards.
Proficiency in laboratory testing methods and quality control techniques.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Proficient in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Quality Management Systems (ISO, HACCP, etc.) is an advantage.
Experience with sensory evaluation techniques and statistical process control.
