About Us:
We are on a mission to redefine how students in India prepare for international education. Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Foreign Education Consultant & Student Mentor who will play a pivotal role in guiding school and junior college students—alongside their parents—through the entire journey of studying abroad. From profile-building in early grades to final admission support, you will be their trusted advisor, strategist, and motivator.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor students from Grades 8–12 through their journey toward studying abroad.
• Guide on academic planning, extracurricular involvement, summer schools, research opportunities, and community engagement activities to build a strong profile.
• Provide end-to-end support for applications to undergraduate programs abroad (USA, UK, Canada, Europe, etc.), including college shortlisting, SOPs/essays, LORs, application portals, and timelines.
• Conduct regular mentoring sessions with students and review progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents, updating them on timelines, expectations, and action plans.
• Maintain detailed student records and ensure timely follow-ups and interventions.
• Stay updated with changes in international admission processes, visa regulations, and global education trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams for content, test prep, and operational requirements.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in mentoring or counseling school/junior college students for foreign education.
• Proven experience in profile building and handling UG admissions.
• Strong understanding of the undergraduate admissions landscape in the USA, UK, Canada, and other major destinations.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Empathetic, student-first mindset with the ability to guide and motivate adolescents.
• Skilled at managing parent relationships with professionalism and sensitivity.
• Prior experience working with schools, international curriculum (IB, IGCSE), or edtech startups is a strong plus.
Preferred Background:
• Bachelor's/Master’s in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Certifications in career or admissions counseling (eg: UCLA Extension, British Council, etc.) are a plus.
What We Offer:
• A mission-driven environment impacting student futures meaningfully.
• The chance to work closely with forward-thinking education leaders and families.
• Strong growth trajectory and ownership in building a best-in-class mentorship platform.
• Supportive and collaborative work culture.
