Job Overview:
The Foreign Exchange Operations Analyst will utilize their expertise in technology and functional applications to support business lines with development and ongoing operational support. This role involves taking charge of project release direction, including research, analysis, development, implementation, and monitoring of systems. As a key liaison for project releases, you will perform in-depth analysis to support business strategies and objectives, compiling detailed information and making project recommendations based on findings.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, including back office, front office, risk, and technology groups to support and troubleshoot accounting flows and processes effectively.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for defects and breakages, coordinating closely with production support and technology partners to identify causes and resolve issues swiftly.
• Provide education and support to back office teams, recommending process enhancements, and serving as a subject matter expert during urgent situations.
• Engage in daily meetings addressing projects or events impacting the team and conduct necessary system implementation testing.
Ideal Candidate:
• Possesses strong analytical skills.
• Technical proficiency, particularly with SQL, PowerApps, and Excel.
• Experience in Foreign Exchange (FX) operations is essential.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in project management.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Ability to analyze business needs through effective meetings, planning, documentation, and presentations.
• Strong understanding of project management techniques and testing processes.
• Capability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, and report on testing outcomes.
• Proficient navigation skills using Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional organization, project management, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Effective leadership and negotiation abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of a specific business line or function area.
