Foreperson|Supervisors |Construction|
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman for one of our Hawke's Bay clients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid background in construction management, and the ability to oversee day-to-day operations on-site. Responsibilities include coordinating workers, ensuring safety compliance, managing materials and schedules, and maintaining quality standards. Previous experience in residential or commercial construction is required.
Requirements:
Must be trade qualified and Licenced Building Practitioner (or keen to be licenced).
Ability to oversee daily management of onsite staff including Leading Hand Carpenters, Carpenters and Apprentices.
Ability to drive projects to ensure they are completed on time and to a high quality.
Be able to liaise with clients and a variety of professionals, such as surveyors, sub-contractors, engineers, and architects, inspectors as well as clients.
Have an excellent grasp on construction methodology.
Ability to read plans and execute detail.
Capable with MS outlook, excel, word and the ability to read MS Project programmes.
Have good attention to detail, be motivated and reliable.
Great communication skills.
Full drivers’ licence.
Have a dependable and enthusiastic work ethic.
Be able to fit in to and be part of a team, as well as the ability to work unsupervised.
