Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our Uddingston-based client.
The successful candidate will have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
Schedule: Day shift
Pay rates: £11.50 per hour
As a Forklift Driver, your duties and responsibilities will include:
• Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy environment
• Safely stacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
• Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
• Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
• Ensuring forklift driving areas are free from spills and obstructions
To be successful in this Forklift Driver position you will hold a valid Counterbalance license, with previous experience operating a forklift truck in a warehouse, manufacturing or similar environment. Combined with: excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail; the physical ability to perform manual labour; the ability to work well in a team; and knowledge of warehouse H&S requirements.
