The Company
people2people are working with a well-known automotive brand to assist them in finding their next team member to join a fast paced warehouse as a Forklift Driver based in there Regency Park location.
The role
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other equipment to move and store products and materials in our warehouse. This role is a casual position working Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm. Working as a part of a larger team you will be responsible for picking, packing, unloading, and assembly work.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts load, unload, and move products and materials within the warehouse
Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods, using appropriate equipment and following all safety protocols
Maintain accurate inventory records and track products and materials within the warehouse
Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including packing and unpacking of products, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
Must have previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment
Current forklift licence and a demonstrated understanding of forklift safety procedures
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in inventory management
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items up to 25kg
