About the Opportunity

Initio Capital is hiring a Founding Account Executive on behalf of a YC-backed portfolio company redefining how real-time company and people data powers modern GTM teams. This startup has developed game-changing infrastructure to deliver live, multi-source data via APIs and full dataset delivery—fueling sales automation, investment sourcing, and beyond.

Imagine a smarter, faster, and more customizable version of Clearbit or People Data Labs—engineered for scale, speed, and impact. The company is post-launch, revenue-generating, and already supporting customers across startup, mid-market, and enterprise.

About the Role

This is an immediate and high-priority hire. As the Founding AE, you’ll be responsible for leading the sales motion end-to-end: running outbound, owning discovery, managing 10+ calls per day, and closing high-impact deals with technical and growth buyers.

You’ll work directly with the founders to shape GTM strategy, test new markets, and help build the sales foundation for a category-defining data company. You must be comfortable navigating ambiguity, selling into technical audiences, and operating with full ownership in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, and close

Drive a high-velocity pipeline while maintaining consultative, intelligent conversations

Tailor technical product pitches to buyer-specific use cases (sales ops, RevOps, growth, and investment teams)

Test and refine messaging, outbound campaigns, and pitch strategy with the founding team

Collaborate cross-functionally to shape roadmap, customer onboarding, and GTM experiments

Set the standard for future sales hires, tools, and culture

✅ What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience as a high-performing AE, preferably in SaaS or API/data tools

Top-of-team performance history (#1 or #2 rank, consistent quota-crusher)

Technical background or strong fluency with APIs, data infrastructure, or developer-first tools

Experience selling into technical, growth, or data-savvy buyers

Early-stage startup experience (Seed to Series B/C)

High-output operator comfortable in fast-paced, no-fluff environments

Compensation & Perks

Base Salary: $250K – $350K

Equity: 0.15% – 0.25%

OTE: $400K+ (uncapped commission)
