Key responsibilities
• This is a full-time on-site role for a Founding Engineer - Full Stack at Unsuit Legal Technologies located in Bengaluru.
• Design and implement the architecture for our AI-driven legal technology platform
• Develop and integrate machine learning models for legal document analysis, contract review, and predictive analytics
• Create intuitive user interfaces for legal professionals to interact with our AI tools
• Collaborate with legal experts to understand domain-specific challenges and translate them into technical solutions
• Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
• Contribute to product strategy and help shape the company's technical vision
• Mentor and grow the engineering team as the company scales
Qualifications
• Worked in a high intensity 0 to 1 environment
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a keen understanding on AI/ML technologies
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and other relevant languages
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and NLP techniques
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of legal industry
• Worked on document AI - Knowledge of legal databases, document management systems, or e-discovery tools
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, security and data privacy considerations in the legal domain
• Prior startup experience or demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset
• Contributions to open-source projects or research publications in relevant fields
